The Bambino Club Café – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to The Bambino Club Café. These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, visits and use of our facilities and services. By making a booking or visiting The Bambino Club Café, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About The Bambino Club Café

The Bambino Club Cafe is a children’s role-play café and play environment designed for children aged 0–7 years.

Our aim is to provide a fun, welcoming and safe environment for children and their accompanying adults.

2. Bookings

Bookings can be made through our website or through any other booking method offered by The Bambino Club Café.

When making a booking, you are responsible for ensuring that the information provided is accurate, including the number and ages of children attending.

A booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully received and a booking confirmation has been issued.

Please check your confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible if any information is incorrect.

3. Supervision of Children

The Bambino Club Cafe is not a childcare facility or crèche.

Children must remain under the supervision and responsibility of their accompanying adult(s) at all times.

Our staff are there to operate the café and facilities and are not responsible for supervising individual children.

Adults must remain on the premises for the duration of their child’s visit and must ensure that children behave safely and appropriately.

We reserve the right to ask an adult and/or child to leave the premises if their behaviour presents a risk to themselves, another person, our staff or our property.

4. Play Areas and Equipment

Children use the role-play areas and other facilities at The Bambino Club Cafe at their own risk and in accordance with any instructions provided.

Children should only use equipment and areas that are suitable for their age and abilities.

Adults are responsible for determining whether an activity or area is suitable for their child.

Please ensure children use the facilities appropriately and do not climb on, misuse or intentionally damage equipment.

If equipment appears damaged or unsafe, please notify a member of staff immediately.

All visitors must follow instructions given by staff and use the play equipment appropriately. Running, rough play, bullying, abusive behaviour, and deliberate damage will not be accepted.

We reserve the right to ask any visitor to leave if their behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate. No refund will be issued in these circumstances.

Shoes must not be worn within the role play areas, they must be removed before entering the fenced gate. Socks must be worn within the role play area, by Children and adults.

5. Illness

Please do not bring your child to The Bambino Club Cafe if they are unwell or have a contagious illness.

If a child develops symptoms of illness while visiting, we may ask the accompanying adult to leave the premises with the child in order to protect other children, families and our staff.

Where appropriate, we may ask families to follow current public health guidance.

6. Food Allergies and Dietary Requirements

We take allergies and dietary requirements seriously.

Please inform a member of staff of any allergies or dietary requirements before purchasing or consuming food or drink.

Although we take reasonable precautions when preparing and serving food, our café environment handles a variety of ingredients and allergens. We cannot guarantee that food will be completely free from traces of allergens.

Parents and carers remain responsible for deciding whether food or drink is suitable for their child.

7. Café Purchases

All food and drink must be consumed in accordance with any instructions provided by our staff.

Prices displayed on our website and at The Bambino Club Cafe are subject to change. The price applicable at the time of purchase will be confirmed before payment.

We reserve the right to withdraw or change menu items where necessary.

8. Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds

All bookings are non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible to request a change of date. We will try to move your booking to another available session, subject to availability and any notice requirements.

Requests to change a booking must be made at least 24 hours before the original session. Changes requested after this time may not be accepted. Any rescheduled booking may only be moved once and must be used within three months of the original booking date.

Failure to attend a session without contacting us will be treated as a missed booking, and no refund or alternative session will be provided.

9. Arrival and Session Times

Please arrive at the time of your booked session. Sessions start and finish at the stated times, and late arrival will not extend your session. Doors will only open at the start of your booked session time, this gives the staff time to clean the café before your arrival.

10. Cancellations

In exceptional circumstances, we may need to cancel or change a session, for example due to unforeseen circumstances, safety concerns, equipment failure, severe weather or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where we cancel a booking, we will provide an appropriate alternative, such as a transfer to another available session or a refund, as applicable.

11. Birthday Parties and Private Events

1. Party Bookings

  • Party bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once the required booking deposit has been received.

  • The person making the booking must be aged 18 or over and will be responsible for the booking and all guests attending.

  • Please ensure that all information provided at the time of booking is accurate, including the child’s name, party date, number of children and any dietary or allergy requirements.

  • The booking time includes the agreed party duration, including any time allocated for food, cake and use of the play area.

  • Please arrive at the agreed time. Late arrival will not normally result in an extension to the party time.

2. Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of £75 is required to secure your booking.

  • The remaining balance must be paid 14 days before the party date.

  • If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

  • Any additional charges incurred on the day must be paid before leaving the premises.

3. Cancellation & Changes

  • If you need to cancel your party, please contact us as soon as possible.

  • Deposits are non-refundable subject to the following conditions.

  • A full refund will be issued if cancelled more than 14 days in advance, except the non-refundable deposit. If cancelled within 14 days of the party, no refunds will be issued.

  • Where possible, we may offer an alternative party date, subject to availability.

  • Changes to the number of children attending must be communicated as soon as possible and may affect the final price.

  • We cannot guarantee that additional children can be accommodated on the day without prior agreement.

4. Party Numbers

  • The maximum number of children attending a party is 25.

  • The minimum number of children is 5.

  • Adults attending the party must remain within the designated areas and follow staff instructions.

  • The number of adults permitted to attend is 35.

  • Due to space and safety requirements, we may not be able to accommodate additional guests who have not been included in the booking.


5. Supervision of Children

  • Children attending the party remain the responsibility of their parent, guardian or always accompanying adult.

  • Our staff are there to facilitate the party and maintain a safe environment but are not responsible for providing individual childcare or supervision.

  • Parents and guardians must ensure that children follow the café’s safety rules and behave appropriately.

  • Children must not be left unattended.

6. Play Area & Safety

  • Children must follow all instructions given by our staff.

  • Appropriate clothing should be worn for playing.

  • Shoes must be removed where required and socks must be worn in designated play areas.

  • Children who are unwell, have a contagious illness or have a fever should not attend.

  • We reserve the right to ask a child or adult to leave the premises if their behaviour presents a risk to themselves, other guests or staff.

  • Please notify a member of staff immediately if an accident, injury or safety concern occurs.

7. Food, Cake & Allergies

  • Please inform us of any food allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements before the party.

  • Although we will take reasonable care when preparing and serving food, our café may handle a range of allergens.

  • If your child has a severe allergy, please discuss this with us before booking so that we can confirm what arrangements we are able to make.

  • Any food or cake brought onto the premises must be agreed with us in advance.

  • Parents/guardians remain responsible for ensuring that food provided to their child is suitable for them.

  • Birthday cakes should be transported and stored safely and must not require specialist refrigeration unless agreed with us beforehand.

  • We reserve the right to refuse outside food where it does not comply with our food safety requirements.

8. Birthday Cake & Candles

  • Candles may only be used with staff approval and must be handled by an adult.

  • For safety reasons, candles must never be left unattended.

  • Please follow staff instructions regarding where the cake and candles may be used.

  • We cannot accept responsibility for damage to cakes that are brought onto the premises.

9. Decorations

  • Decorations are welcome where agreed in advance.

  • No decorations may be attached to walls, ceilings, furniture, play equipment or other surfaces using tape, pins, staples or adhesive products unless approved by a member of staff.

  • Glitter, confetti, slime, silly string or face paints and similar products are not permitted.

  • All decorations must be removed at the end of the party unless otherwise agreed.

  • Only free standing balloons on weights allowed 

10. Damage & Loss

  • The booking organiser may be responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing property damaged by a guest where the damage has been caused deliberately, recklessly or through inappropriate behaviour.

  • The Bambino Club Cafe cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings.

  • Please avoid bringing valuable or unnecessary items to the party.

11. Arrival & Departure

  • Please arrive no earlier than 60 minutes before your booked party time unless otherwise agreed.

  • At the end of the party, all guests must leave the premises promptly so that we can prepare for the next booking. You are allocated 30 minutes after the party to depart

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that children leave safely with the appropriate adult.

12. Photography & Social Media

  • From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken at the café for promotional or social media purposes.

  • We will only use identifiable images of children where the appropriate consent has been obtained.

  • If you do not wish your child to be photographed, please inform a member of staff before the party.

13. Staff & Behaviour

We want everyone to have a positive experience. We therefore ask all children and adults to treat our staff, other guests and the premises with respect.

We reserve the right to end a party or ask an individual to leave if there is abusive, threatening, aggressive or seriously disruptive behaviour towards staff or other guests.

14. Liability

We take reasonable steps to provide a safe and enjoyable environment. However, The Bambino Club Cafe cannot accept responsibility for injury, loss or damage resulting from a failure to follow our rules, staff instructions or reasonable safety guidance.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising the children in their care.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

15. Changes to the Party

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the party arrangements where necessary, including changes required for health and safety, staffing, maintenance or circumstances beyond our control.

Where we need to make a significant change to your booking, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

12. Damage to Property

Customers may be responsible for the reasonable cost of repairing or replacing property or equipment that is deliberately or negligently damaged by them or by a child in their care.

Normal wear and tear will not be charged.

13. Personal Belongings

Customers are responsible for their own personal belongings while visiting The Bambino Club Cafe.

We cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises, except where we are legally responsible.

14. Photography and Filming

The Bambino Club Cafe may occasionally take photographs or videos for marketing purposes.

We will not intentionally photograph or film identifiable children for marketing purposes without appropriate permission.

Customers are asked to respect the privacy of other families and should not photograph or film other children without permission from their parent or guardian.

15. Accessibility

We aim to make The Bambino Club Cafe welcoming and accessible to all families.

If you have any accessibility requirements, please contact us before your visit so that we can discuss how we can best assist you.

16. Liability

We take reasonable steps to provide a safe environment and to maintain our facilities appropriately.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that the law does not permit us to exclude or limit.

Subject to the above, The Bambino Club Cafe will not be responsible for loss or damage arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Parents and carers remain responsible for supervising children throughout their visit.

17. Complaints

We want all families to have a positive experience at The Bambino Club Cafe.

If you have a concern or complaint, please speak to a member of our team at the time where possible so that we have an opportunity to resolve the issue.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our services, facilities or legal requirements.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
